WEEKLY POSITION MONITOR UPDATE
On Monday’s Health Care Webcast, we will cover:
- NIH Data Update (TXG, ILMN) | Based on our data, the setup for Illumina (ILMN) looks like a win/win situation as 10x Genomics (TXG) and NanoString (NSTG) – among others - allow researchers/scientists to study biology in new and exciting ways. On this week’s position monitor, we will share new insights from the NIH Database which shows us that next-generation sequencing has worked its way into ~15% of all grants, while single cell has penetrated 2.5% of all grants.
- Forecast Algorithms for 4Q20 | Over the past year, we have developed and expanded many of the quantitative tools which we have begun instituting into our process and sharing with our clients. Of these tools, we have found success (and subsequently expanded the offering) with our quantitative Forecast Algorithms. This week, we will share the newest forecasts for 4Q20 based on strong supporting, correlated data. Tickers include: JNJ, EYE, USPH, LH+DGX, HRC, HCA, THC, and UHS.
- Weekly MicroQuad Update | Next week, it is all about the MicroQuads with THREE presentations explaining their meaning, role in our process, and potential utility in yours. On Monday, we will provide an update of this weekend’s data, as well as preview the joint Health Care + Health Care Policy call on Wednesday, December 30th. On that call, sector heads, Tom Tobin and Emily Evans will pair up the massive macro tailwinds with the MicroQuad process followed by the potential winners and losers in a post-COVID world.
