Why I Started Hedgeye

A Letter from CEO Keith McCullough

Dear Investor,

I want to take a minute to welcome you to our growing community of investors across the globe searching for a better way. Thank you for placing your trust in us. Together, my team of 40+ analysts and I are hard at work tearing down the edifice of Old Wall Street, brick-by-brick. There's much more work to be done.

In 2008, Hedgeye was born. My co-founders and I created something that didn't exist: Hedge fund-quality research for everyday investors. We envisioned a level playing field between everyday investors and Wall Street. Our founding principles remain transparency, accountability and trust.

Our risk management approach to investing is different than what you’re accustomed to. Our process will make you a sharper investor and reshape how you think about financial markets. It will help you make better investment decisions.

For those of you interested in learning more about our unique approach to financial markets, our team has created an introductory video where I walk through our Macro process. You can watch it below.

On a closing note, you’re in good company with your subscription. Many of the world’s smartest, most successful investors have relied on our differentiated investment research for over a decade.

Welcome to Hedgeye,

Keith R. McCullough
Chief Executive Officer

We do things differently here at Hedgeye. If you’re new to our unique process, non-consensus approach, there’s a good chance you may have some questions sometimes about what our CEO or one of our analysts is saying. That’s why we created Hedgeye University. It will help you understand what terms like “Quad 4,” “Trade, Trend and Tail,” “GIP Model” or “Multi-Factor, Multi-Duration” mean. Take a look below. We’re confident you’ll get a much better understanding of our investing process and how to successfully implement it. Go To Hedgeye University
