WEEKLY POSITION MONITOR UPDATE
On Monday’s Health Care Webcast, we will cover:
- App Download Data | The impacts of COVID-19 have pushed telemedicine to the forefront of the health care system's agenda. In order to track the presence of the platforms we cover ($TDOC, $ONEM), we have begun analyzing their app downloads, as well as, other notable private names in the space.
- AMN Tracker | Following an impressive first quarter propelled by a spike in ICU demand as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, temporary nurse staffing demand fell rapidly due to financial burden placed on hospitals by the halting of elective procedures. Throughout the #SecondWave, we continue to update our AMN Trackers to monitor recovery in demand. While we have seen a bounce, we are skeptical that demand will return to pre-COVID levels in the near- term.
- ADP, BLS Employment | Alongside our AMN Trackers, we have found it a meaningful experience to follow a set of notable health care series released within these monthly employment reports. We will present these findings including employment trends for hospitals, medical labs, and diagnostic imaging centers.
