Takeaway: ONEM continues positive after re-opening, TDOC not so much

OVERVIEW

TDOC |  For TDOC, app downloads and active users have both retraced back to pre-COVID levels, or below.  BetterHelp continues to increase sequentially.   There are a number of cross currents ahead for TDOC as patients and clinicians adopt telehealth.

Our view has been that the magnitude of patient volume that can convert to telemedicine can support multiple offerings, including physicians using Epic, ZocDoc, or some other service provider.  The decline in downloads from the peak of COVID-19 and changes in policy is expected, but continuing to trend lower in June is not.  We don't see an offsetting increase in active users, either.

ONEM |  App downloads continue to increase sequentially along with phased re-openings across the country.  We've also been tracking the provider activity.  Both point to continued growth.
