Takeaway: As the voting begins in the Senate, join us as we go through the bill's chances with Speaker Ryan's former chief of staff TODAY at 11 AM ET.

The final countdown is underway for amendments to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as the first roll call vote begins at 11 AM ET today. Join David Hoppe, JT Taylor and Emily Evans as we go through where the bill stands, what to expect, and what McConnell has up his sleeve.

The Majority Leader was forced to postpone Senate votes last night, after the Senate Parliamentarian ruled against including the trigger mechanism proposed by Senators Bob Corker (R-TN) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ). McConnell was still grappling with three remaining holdouts as of 9:00 AM to secure 50 votes. He is expected to introduce an amendment today addressing Corker and Flake's debt/deficit concerns, as well as Senator Ron Johnson's (R-WI) demands for pass-through entities.
