Today the Senate released their hotly anticipated “discussion draft” of the American Health Care Act ("AHCA"). As expected, the bill moderates the House’s approach to Medicaid expansion and tax credits to support the individual market. The AHCA also provides a nice surprise for mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facilities.
