FLASH CALL – THE DEMISE OF DODD FRANK?  CHOICE ACT UPDATE WITH DREW CANTOR OF PMJ

TIME + DIAL-IN TBD

Drew Cantor of Peck Madigan Jones will discuss the CHOICE ACT (the Dodd-Frank replacement bill) which is being marked up this week in the House Financial Services Committee.

Once Chairman Jeb Hensarling completes this week’s mark-up, we will host a flash call tomorrow with the latest updates and prospects for passage in the House as well as a potential uphill battle for Chairman Hensarling's effort in the Senate. Given their opposition to the legislation, Democrats on the Committee are using procedural methods (including a full reading of the 500 page bill) to delay the measure as much as possible.

Join us for a conversation between Drew, Macro Policy Analyst JT Taylor, and Financials Analyst Josh Steiner. Due to the unclear timeline on the mark-up please keep your eyes peeled for the exact time and dial-in information for the call - likely mid-afternoon.

Key Issues Include:

Regulatory Relief for Banks that Bolster their Capital Levels

Repeal of the Volcker Rule

Repeal of the Durbin Amendment

We welcome you to join us for a dynamic discussion with Drew who will share his insight on the future of Financial Services Chairman Rep Jeb Hensarling's signature legislation.
