PRELIMINARY U.S. Cannabis July Trends

We received August data for the first 11 states in our Hedgeye U.S. cannabis industry tracker. The preliminary data indicate that cannabis sales in the country slowed by 50bps sequentially and grew 5.7% YoY. The YoY acceleration in growth was driven by Maryland beginning adult-use cannabis sales in July. Unit volumes in the U.S. were down 40bps sequentially and up 16.1% YoY.
