Cannabis in Europe.
We have written many times in the past about the legalization efforts in Germany, but now we are getting movement from Ireland. Recently, a bill aimed at legalizing recreational cannabis for personal use in the Irish government. The bill aims to modify the Misuse of Drug Act entered into effect in 1977 by allowing adults of at least 18 years of age to possess up to 7 grams of cannabis or 2.5 grams of cannabis resin. The bill however does not include cultivation or sales of cannabis products so users would still have to buy cannabis in the black market.
