Minnesota is moving towards adult-use.

Minnesota passed a bill earlier this week to sell low THC edibles for adult use. Lawmakers in the state say this enacted law was an intentional legislative step in the direction of full adult-use legalization. “We absolutely did this on purpose. It was an intentional step forward,” the leader said, “and it is an opportunity for Minnesota businesses and Minnesota consumers to have access to a product that can be safe and is widely available and used today—however, through an illicit marketplace.” marijuanamoment.net

Here comes Oklahoma.

Cannabis activists in Oklahoma (OSML) have submitted the signatures required to qualify a cannabis legalization initiative for the November ballot. They needed to obtain ~95k signatures, and the activist group has commented that they have over 164k signatures. There are two citizen groups attempting to get cannabis legalization on the ballot in Oklahoma, with the other still in the process of gathering signatures. “The initiative would allow adults 21 and older in the state to possess and purchase up to an ounce of cannabis and grow a limited number of plants for personal use.” marijuanamoment.net
