Withdrawal of Financial Guidance: In light of a number of developments, circumstances, and considerations, including, among others, deteriorating market and macro-economic conditions, recent changes to senior management, and the pending transaction with Tilray Brands, Inc. (with expected impacts on the company's capital structure and liquidity) the company now believes that it will not achieve the synergies and incremental cash flow increases to the level estimated in its previous guidance and it expects such figures and measures to be lower than previously guided. HEXO's CFO is embarking on a comprehensive review of its existing organizational and business strategy with the continuing objectives of becoming EBITDA and cash flow positive

AZ Cannabis Sales Cracking.

Total cannabis sales in April for the state of Arizona were ~$115k which was made up of ~$68K in adult-use sales and ~$47k in medical sales. This represents a -3% MoM decline in adult-use sales and a -13% MoM decline in medical sales. Total sales were down 7% MoM and down 8.3% YoY. Germany is on the path to legalization.

As we discussed with Tej Virk (CEO of Akanda) last month during a speaker call on HedgeyeTV, Germany is moving quickly to legalize cannabis. This week they are formally starting the process with a hearing series that is designed to help inform legislation to end prohibition in the country. “We are starting the preparatory phase of legislation,” Commissioner for Addiction and Drug Issues Burkhard Blienert said in a press release on Monday. “Being able to finally announce this is a special, gratifying moment for me personally. Like many others, I have been working for years to ensure that we in Germany finally stop criminalizing cannabis users and start a modern and health-oriented cannabis policy.” marijuanamoment.net
