THEME & TICKER UPDATES For Monday

We'll review the latest Macro, Industry, Factor, and Stock level details relating to our coverage of the US Medical Economy. Including an update to the Quad-Factor Screen results.

Health Care Wage inflation - The most critical factor facing the US Medical Economy right now is the scarcity and rates for skilled Health Care labor. We saw both Health Care wages and job openings take off mid-2021 and peak with Omicron in January 2022. Then we heard about it on Health Care company earnings calls and in tempered guidance across providers and med tech. Month over month the worst appears over since the January peak.   We’ll review the latest data and stock impacts including this morning's labor reports and our proprietary trackers.

Quad-Factor Model and Screen - Quad 4 has hammered home the need to get more Factor Aware, not just Quad Aware, especially in Quad 4 where Health Care fundamentals typically accelerate and prices perform.  We’ve distilled our scoring to just a handful of factors that matter that results in a short list of high probability longs and shorts.

Sector ETFs Positioning - We’ve applied the Quad-Factor framework to the core Health Care ETFs analyzing the component holdings for the aggregate factor and fundamental positioning. We’ve sorted XLV, XHS, XHE, XBI, ARKG, and PINK into active and bench longs and shorts on our position monitor.

Special Ticker Updates - We’ve been working on TFX, HOLX, AMN, EXAS, NTRA, and LFST in the last week. Both TFX and HOLX fell out of our first Quad-Factor screen as high probability longs and we have a preliminary look. AMN continues to look like a short. EXAS continues to screen short and LFST may now be one with our latest tracker data.

Q&A - This is always the best part of the show. We learn a lot by answering your questions. Please feel free to send your questions in ahead of time and we'll make sure they are in the queue and asked and answered.
