NC SENATE APPROVES MEDICAL USE OF MARijuana.
We wrote yesterday morning that a bill to legalize medical marijuana in North Carolina was moving to the Senate floor after passing its respected committee vote yesterday. No more than a few hours later, the North Carolina Senate voted to legalize the use of medical marijuana in a 35-10 vote. One more vote, expected next week, is required before the NC Senate can send it to the House of Representatives for consideration. “The bill provides for up to 10 medical marijuana suppliers who control the cultivation and sale of cannabis.
