Shaleen is an attorney and a longtime cannabis activist. She was just named to the 2021 Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list. Shaleen runs the drug policy think tank Parabola Center. In addition, she is a Distinguished Cannabis Policy Practitioner in Residence at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law's Drug Enforcement and Policy Center. She served as an inaugural cannabis commissioner in Massachusetts from 2017 to 2020 and is currently vice-chair of the Cannabis Regulators of Color Coalition. We will be discussing the topic of legalization and marijuana policy and implementation with her.
