There are some exciting new developments for the company, announced today by the MA Cannabis Commission.
As we mentioned in our presentation, Tilt has one open dispensary location located in Taunton, MA. They were waiting on their licenses for the two new locations. Their wait was over today as a provisional license for the dispensary in Brockton was issued in the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission meeting. In addition to this license, a provisional license was issued for their already open Taunton location to start selling adult-use cannabis. This news is in line with Tilt’s expectations "My expectation is once we get the green light from the state, we would do Brockton medical and then we would add adult-use in Taunton, and hopefully, adult-use in Brockton and then round out the end of the year with medical in Cambridge." said CEO Gary Santos on their latest earnings call.
The Cambridge location is still pending and is expected to open by the end of the year. However, these accomplishments exemplify Tilt's ability to execute its expansion plan, which is why we find it an excellent long. We believe that the company operations are undervalued, and the Jupiter division represents more than 100% of the company enterprise value, suggesting you are getting the plant-touching business for free.
