Trulieve Begins WV Cultivation

TCNNF is a USA long.

Trulieve opened its cultivation facility in Huntington, WV, yesterday. The facility is 100,000 square feet and will supply several dispensaries in the state as Trulieve does not have any retail locations in WV....yet. "West Virginia patients have been waiting on medical cannabis for some time, and we are happy to announce we have planted our first crop," said Trulieve Chief Executive Officer Kim Rivers.  "As we have demonstrated in our home state of Florida, Trulieve is dedicated to providing meaningful access to patients. We look forward to introducing the Trulieve brand in the state, providing patients with the highest quality products to meet their medical needs." As of June 30, 2021, WV has over 2,300 patients enrolled in its medical cannabis program. Additionally, Trulieve continues to expand beyond their home state of Florida with five operations outside of the state, along with the acquisition of Harvest Health expected to close in September.
