CGC US Beverage Distribution
Canopy Growth Corp. will start the distribution of its CBD beverage portfolio into the US market. This was made possible by their strategic partnership with Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits and their established distribution network. They will distribute the beverage to seven states to start and will expand in the coming months. “This agreement reinforces our consumer-focused approach to identifying emerging growth areas where we can add value for our customers,” said David Chaplin, Chief Growth Officer. The sparkling water contains 20 mg of U.S. grown CBD and is zero-sugar and low calorie. It is available in four flavors: Cucumber Mint, Passion Fruit Guava, Blueberry Acai, and Ginger Lime. It will retail for $3.99 per 12 oz. can. The beverage is already a top-selling drink in Canada, so Canopy Growth is hoping to continue these successes in the US.
