On Monday’s Hedgeye House Call, we will cover:
- Forecast Algorithm Update | A number of the names covered by our proprietary machine learning process will report next week. The methodology for these algorithms directly connects the drivers of the US Medical Economy to the top- line drivers of these companies. On Monday, we will give previews of the corresponding algorithms for JNJ, LH+DGX, THC, and HCA.
- Claims Data Update | While we have not released a Genetic Testing Lab Chartbook this month, we continue to update and monitor the underlying workbooks. Recently, we have been paying particular interest to the 1Q21 forecasts for Invitae’s (NVTA), Natera’s (NTRA), and NeoGenomics’ (NEO) volume trends. On this week’s Hedgeye House Call, we will show these claims updates, as well as discuss our expectations heading into earnings in the next few weeks.
- Weekly MQ Update – 1Q21 Earnings | Following the UNH release this past Thursday, the 1Q21 Health Care Earnings season has officially begun. While many of our names are “taking a deep breath” in the #MicroQuad3 framework, there are a number of workflow tickers that we will be listening for specific details. Next week, we will update the #MicroQuad screening tool and break down the tickers that we have been holding behind the lines.
