Illinois, Nevada, Maryland Tracker
Illinois released another month of data. Total sales increased 32% month over month and 158% year over year. The new tracker shows a variety of data on one screen. Included on the page are both medical and adult-use sales broken down by category.
Nevada has also released another month of sales data. January sales were up 11.75% month over month and 29.96% year over year. The chart includes both recreational and medical sales.
Maryland has also released another month of sales data. March sales were up 13.39% month over month and 43.3% year over year.
Trulieve Pennsylvania Acquisitions
Yesterday, Trulieve Cannabis Corp (TCNNF) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement under which Trulieve has agreed to acquire from Anna Holdings LLC a dispensary license operating under Keystone Shops with locations in Philadelphia, Devon, and King of Prussia. Trulieve has agreed to acquire Keystone Shops for an upfront payment of $60 million, comprised of $40 million in Trulieve subordinate voting shares ("Trulieve Shares") and $20 million in cash. The deal does not carry a deferred payment or an earn-out period. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to close during the second quarter of 2021. Trulieve now has dispensaries in Florida (76), Pennsylvania (3), California (1), and Connecticut (1).
CURLF
CURLF is rebranding for the Company's recently acquired retail locations and the imminent opening of its 10th store in Illinois. Curaleaf closed its acquisition of Grassroots on July 23, 2020, and has obtained final regulatory approval from Illinois for the transfer of nine Greenhouse and Windy City Cannabis retail licenses. Following state guidelines, Curaleaf has begun rebranding of Windy City Cannabis retail locations in Worth, Justice, and on Weed Street in Chicago in addition to Greenhouse dispensaries located in Deerfield, Mokena, Skokie, Northbrook, Melrose, and Morris
