The last time Andrew and I got together in June 2020, we discussed "Media in the Pandemic Age," examining how the crisis has impacted consumption trends by generation. This time around, we are going to dive into three topics:

1. Online Dating Industry - Social distancing has elevated the role of virtual dating services and friendship apps in our society. We will discuss the epidemic of loneliness across age demographics, online dating engagement by socioeconomic status, and the impact of evolving gender roles. 
2. Interactive Media - Live streaming, video games, and augmented reality. What role will the ever-evolving 'Metaverse' play in society long-term? We will discuss the demographic trends underpinning growth in platforms like Roblox and Fortnite. 
3. Social Media - Do we have the "right to be forgotten"? Is the rise of 'free speech' social networks like Parler a flash in the pan or a glimpse into the future? We will discuss the future role of social media platforms in the context of the cycles of history.
