With November elections 84 days away, the race for the White House and Congress is in high gear and Democrats are playing offense in their effort to turn the map blue with Republicans struggling to maintain unity amidst sagging national polls. With a number of leaning Republican states slowly becoming potential battlegrounds as we approach the election season, we’ll discuss what states you should be watching and the likelihood of the Democrats prevailing. We’ll also look at the logistics of holding an election during a pandemic – from a plurality of states transitioning to facilitate mail-in ballots and the herculean task of tabulating them in a compressed timeframe - to the chances and timeline for a contested election.
