Today we covered COVID-19 caseload data including additional information released by the cities of Chicago and New York on racial and ethnic disparities and the role of underlying health conditions on mortality rates. We also unveiled our analysis of Google's Mobility Data that shows change in human movement to retail and recreation sites as well as workplaces as a result of new universal "stay-at-home" orders. Finally, we offered the historical precedent of the 1952 polio epidemic as our preferred comparison for what "normal" will look like before a vaccine is developed.
