MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13:

  • The House Committee on Rules is holding a meeting on the National Defense Authorization Act at 5:00 PM.
  • The Senate Finance Committee will take up the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act at 3:00 PM.
  • The White House is hosting a meeting at the United Nations climate conference in Bonn, Germany to promote more efficient global use of fossil fuels.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14:

  • The House Energy and Commerce Committee will examine the response and recovery from the 2017 hurricane season at 10:00 AM.
  • The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Regulatory Reform Task Forces has their second check-in at 10:00 AM.
  • The House Committee on Financial Services is hosting a markup at 10:00 AM on dozens of bills ranging from Dodd-Frank reform to housing finance reform.
  • The House Homeland Security Committee has a hearing on the U.S./Canada border at 10:00 AM.
  • The House Foreign Affairs Committee will give an update on Brexit at 2:00 PM.
  • The House Committee on Natural Resources will discuss financial transparency in Puerto Rico post Hurricane Maria at 2:00 PM.
  • The Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources will discuss oversight of hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands at 9:30 AM.
  • The Senate Armed Services Committee will consider nominations at 10:00 AM.
  • The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee will hold a hearing on several clean air and nuclear bills at 10:00 AM.
  • The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding a hearing on Trump’s authority to use nuclear weapons.
  • The Senate Intelligence Committee will have a closed briefing on the Russian investigation at 2:30 PM.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15:

  • The House Committee on Foreign Affairs will markup several bills at 10:00 AM.
  • The House Committee on Natural Resources will hold a hearing on the National Park, Fish and Wildlife Service Bills at 10:30 AM.
  • The House Committee on Rules will take up the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act at 12:00 PM.
  • The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will hold a hearing on the FY18 budget and using reconciliation language to open the Arctic Wildlife Refuge for oil and gas drilling at 9:00 AM.
  • The Senate Judiciary Committee will consider nominations at 10:00 AM and examine the consumer welfare standard in antitrust at 2:30 PM.
  • The Senate Appropriations Committee will examine the Department of Veterans Affairs efforts to prevent and combat opioid overmedication at 2:30 PM.
  • The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will consider nominations at 2:30 PM.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16:
