Independent Financial Research Firm Raises Money for Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders (BCYL)

STAMFORD, Conn – August 1, 2017 – Hedgeye Cares announced today that it raised over $73,000 for Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders (BCYL) at its 4th annual Hedgeye Cares Charity Golf Challenge. The event was held at GlenArbor in Bedford, NY on May 16th.
The annual gathering brings together leaders in finance to help support the efforts of BCYL (affectionately known as Caribe), a youth organization in Bridgeport, CT, dedicated to fostering the development of local kids through sports, education and community.
“We are deeply grateful to Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough and the Hedgeye Cares team led by Josefine Allain for their generous support,” said BCYL Executive Director John Torres. “Their hard work and financial contribution help us provide Bridgeport youth the environment, resources and inspiration which foster leadership skills and values. I admire Hedgeye’s continued commitment to the community and BCYL.”

”We recognize that we’ve been enormously blessed,” said Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough. “We are grateful for the opportunity to give something back to our community here in Connecticut. What John Torres and his team at Caribe are doing for kids in Bridgeport is inspirational,” he added. “They give these kids critical tools needed to become tomorrow’s leaders and success stories.”
This year’s tournament attracted over 100 golfers. It included a full day of golf, lunch, dinner and a silent auction later in the evening. Major sponsors for this year’s charity golf event included New Country, Connecticut Junior Rangers, Mass Mutual, GoldMoney, Forstone Capital and First Reserve.
“It’s an honor and privilege to support BCYL ,” said Hedgeye Cares board member Josefine Allain. “What they’re doing for these kids is nothing short of remarkable. Their track record of success speaks for itself.”
