TRUMP’S TAX PLAN - JUMPSTARTING OR STALLING TAX REFORM?

Join us for a call with David Hoppe, former chief of staff to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Macro Policy Analyst JT Taylor for a discussion on President Donald Trump’s tax plan to be unveiled at 1:30pm today by Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and NEC Chief Gary Cohn.

That tax plan is expected to resemble his campaign promise that included a cut to the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent and individual tax brackets of 12 percent, 25 percent and 33 percent. One key piece that will likely be missing from the plan is Speaker Ryan and House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady’s border adjustment tax.
