It may be winter, but the temperature is rising in Washington, DC and across the world.
President Trump signed seven executive orders his first 10 days in office. None is more shrouded in controversy than Executive Order 13769, “Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.” The temporarily upended order prevents people from seven predominantly Muslim countries from entering the U.S. After the order took effect, protests were organized at airports around the country.
Multiple lawsuits have emerged challenging the order, including one case currently before the powerful San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals which has a reputation as the nation’s most liberal.
Hedgeye Senior Policy analyst Paul Glenchur, a member of the Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit bars, will weigh in with his thoughts during this exclusive HedgeyeTV discussion.
Glenchur will discuss the following topics and take live viewer questions.
- Will Trump’s controversial travel ban hold up in court?
- How will the outcome impact his presidency?
- What are the likeliest outcomes?
