Shares of Tesla (TSLA) tanked over 10% today following a negative earnings report, pulling the broader market down with it alongside Alphabet which fell 5%.
Hedgeye’s veteran Industrials analyst Jay Van Sciver delved into the report in detail this morning with CEO Keith McCullough on The Call @ Hedgeye.
“Everywhere you look at this report—it is not a good report,” said Van Sciver. “The internals are worse than the headlines, and the headlines aren’t great.”
“[Tesla] has always been at the center of the mother of all bubbles,” explained McCullough. “Now, we’re seeing some pretty good chunks of the bubble coming undone.”
