“What a joke Wall Street’s ‘Fed Fund Futures Expectations’ (more like bullying the tape and hoping the Fed panders) have become,” Keith McCullough wrote five days into 2024. “'Expectations' for a March cut went to 97% into the year-end comp markups.”
Now, just over two weeks into the year, the odds of a rate cut are down to 61%.
