A subscriber asked Keith McCullough when he will close out his positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs (BITO and ETHE) given Hedgeye’s Quad 4 forecast (Growth and Inflation slowing) in the first half of 2024.

Unlike crypto bag holders salivating over every potentially bullish headline, Hedgeye’s CEO says he’ll hold BITO and ETHE only as long as the signals tell him to.

“In Quad 4, we’ll get rid of BITO and ETHE at some point. There’s no signal to do that yet,” he explains in this clip from The Macro Show. “When Bitcoin was at the top end of the range, I had no idea why and didn’t care. I don’t care about the narrative on these things and never have. It could be gone by tomorrow, I don’t know. The signal gives me the answer on that.”
