It takes time, as it did after passage of the Affordable Care Act, but with enough of it, the last two years of legislating and policy making are having their effects. Whether they are desired or even intended is worth asking about - another day. In the meantime, we are approaching critical mass of legislative/rule making impact but, unlike 2015, accompanied by inflation, a very different anti-trust environment, and tire tracks across the back of the formerly untouchable pharmaceutical industry.
The set-up for generational change is difficult to refute which is one of the many reasons the whole "GLP-1s-will-destroy-health-care" narrative makes our nose itch. Perhaps there are some other things going on here, other than another diet fad, that deserve our attention.
