Domino’s is celebrating March Madness by offering 50% off all menu-priced pizzas ordered online through March 26, 2023.
To take advantage of the offer, order any size pizza on any crust, with any toppings online, and you’ll qualify for 50% off the regular menu price. The 50% off deal is available on menu-priced pizzas ordered through Domino’s online ordering channels, which include dominos.com, Domino’s mobile app, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Facebook Messenger, and voice ordering. According to Domino’s, during the 2022 national semifinals and championship game night combined, the pizza chain sold more than 3 million pizzas – enough to give more than 40 pizzas to each person attending the final game in Houston this year.
THE CMG BULL CASE
Lower avocado prices are important for CMG, but slowing demand (SSS) will lower the P/E multiple.
Chipotle’s largest avocado supplier, Mission Produce, noted in an earnings call in early March that it expects its avocado prices to be up sequentially in the quarter ending in April but to be down 30% to 35% from last year. This is in keeping with CMG's guidance for increasing avocado prices in calendar 1Q23 vs. 4Q22. Can the company do better than expected? Possibly, but we don't want to lose sight of the potential offsetting impact of higher beef prices.

Just Eat to lay off 1,700 delivery staff as takeaway boom ends - The Telegraph
Just Eat Takeaway.com has said it plans to cut around 1,700 delivery driver jobs and 170 head office roles across the company. A Just Eat Takeaway.com spokeswoman said: "Just Eat UK is reorganizing and simplifying its delivery operation as part of the ongoing goal of improving efficiency. As part of this process, we have proposed to transition away from the worker model for couriers, which is a small part of our overall delivery operations - running in certain parts of six UK cities.
