Florida Cannabis Trends

In the month of December, Florida recorded ~$165M in cannabis sales, which represents a sequential increase of 7.7% and a YoY increase of 2.4%. Unit volumes in the month were up 13% sequentially and also up YoY by 18%. The average unit price decreased 4.6% sequentially and down 13.2% YoY.

Mississippi Opening up Cannabis sales.

Cannabis sales in the state of Mississippi could open up as soon as of today. Coastal Capital Dispensary believes they will have products on the shelves as early as Wednesday or Friday at the latest. There are currently 1,700 patients registered for the state's medical cannabis program. Back in October, the state issued provisional licenses to 138 dispensaries, 47 cultivators, eight processors, four transportation entities, and two testing centers. 

Wana Brand Parterns With TerrAscend.

TerrAscend (TRSSF) announced a multi-year agreement with Wana Brandsto introduce Wana’s products in retail stores and additional third-party retailers in New Jersey. The agreement will also transfer to TerrAscend, the manufacturing and sales of Wana’s existing portfolio of products in Maryland. TerrAscend will serve as the exclusive sole manufacturer, supplier, and commercial partner for Wana’s products in New Jersey. Nancy Whiteman, CEO and Co-founder of Wana Brands, said, “We could not be more excited to partner with TerrAscend to introduce Wana to New Jersey cannabis connoisseurs for the very first time and launch several of our top selling SKUs from other markets in Maryland."
