The next few quarters ought to be rewarding for health care. The data are telling a familiar story about pent-up demand but with a COVID twist.

People are making their way back to the system either because their COVID concerns have diminished, they fear or expect loss of insurance, they simply cannot wait any longer or all of the above. Meanwhile, many COVID-related and economically positive mechanisms remain in place like near de facto Medicaid expansion, tax credits for ACA plans, provider relief funds and testing mandates.
