Takeaway: A year after its incredible rip we're hosting a Black Book to review the evolution of the bull and bear case, and where to go from here.

It was the week of January 25th last year that GME made its incredible rapid rise from $77 to $380 over just 3 days.  At this time last year few thought this stock could rise above $100, and even fewer would wager to have seen it spend most of 2021 above $150.

There has been a lot of change is just one year, the company has been totally recapitalized and there is a whole new leaderships team in place.  Sales trends in 2021 were quite strong when considering the entire year saw limited supply of consoles and multiple Covid spikes pressuring B&M traffic.

To honor the anniversary, we're hosting a Black Book on Tuesday, January 25th at 12:30 to dive in on the investment story and the evolution of the bull and bear debate.  We'll outline what we know about Ryan Cohen's transformation plans so far, and specifically spend time assessing the cryptogaming opportunity in addition to the turnaround of traditional retail.  The company has given little detail about where its strategy will go, which leaves the opportunity for us to dive in on the research and help investors get a picture of the long term business opportunity.
