Takeaway: Although evidence of change is all around us; some in C-Suite continue to treat COVID like a bad storm instead of generational inflection

One of the first places I look for trouble - be it in politics or industry - is they way in which leaders describe their mission and their plans for execution. Gaps between the gestalt of leadership and the heuristics of management are usually the first sign that things may not be going well. With change all around us, it takes a very talented and confident leader to identify challenges and opportunities while pivoting in the right direction. Not everyone can do it.

Yesterday we looked at a few examples of companies who may be in trouble with their COVID-induced pivots.

In the New Year, we will be using more of this 30 min format for incremental updates. In our now video-heavy world, more frequent content requiring less of a time commitment seems like a better fit. We won't be holding Q & A on this short format but always feel free to email or call with questions.

Thanks for your readership and support of our work in 2021.

Have a safe and Happy New Year.
