Lots of chatter about what may or may not happen in Washington with the FDA, Interstate commerce, and SAFE.  Unfortunately, it's just noise until we see lawmakers get serious about Cannabis reform.  In the meantime, Cannabis stock is in purgatory waiting to be released!

Glass House Urges Biden

Glasshouse Brands announced that along with over 150 artists, athletes, and business leaders, they would be signing a letter to President Biden to advocate for the immediate pardon of all federal nonviolent marijuana offenders. The letter, spearheaded by the advocacy group The Weldon Project, includes signatures from celebrities such as Drake, Killer Mike, Deion Sanders, Al Harrington, and Kevin Garnett. "The harms of incarceration are obvious, but the pains of federal marijuana convictions transcend prison walls, making it more difficult for someone to get a job, access affordable housing, and receive an education. A conviction can forever limit an individual's constitutional rights and can put the American dream further out of reach for an entire family. Enough is enough. No one should be locked up in federal prison for marijuana. No one should continue to bear the scarlet letter of a federal conviction for marijuana offenses," the letter says. During his campaign, Biden promised for the release of all inmates serving time for non-violent marijuana crimes. This letter calls upon him to fulfill his promise.
