Hedgeye House Call - The Doctor is in
On Monday’s Hedgeye House Call, we will cover:
- GDRX Thesis Refresh (Data, Outlook) | GoodRx (GDRX) has been one of our favorite longs as part of the delayed re-opening play in Health Care. Although it has not been all clear skies, we continue to come away with positive indications from the data we maintain and experts we speak to. There is a lot to unpack here given that app downloads have continued to slow, while Google Trend data increased dramatically late in 1Q21 and in- line with company commentary on their earnings call. On Monday, we will refresh on a number of these items.
- NEW Re- Opening Tracking Data | In order to support our current theses and provide a backing for future ideas, we continue to add to our roster of data series. From what we can see, the re-opening within Health Care looks to be starting with indications that volume is picking up in a number of select areas such as physical therapy, screening colonoscopies, new patient visits, and health system job board data. Despite these accelerations, the re-open is by no means universal or widespread yet. This week, we will review these series.
- Weekly MicroQuad Update – ARKG | After reviewing the standard output from the MicroQuad screen, we will be taking a deeper dive into the Ark Genomic Revolution ETF (ARKG), which is currently an Active Short. We added this name in March following a signal from the screening tool. After taking advantage of the factor exposure that many of its holdings share, we will revisit the data on Monday to define our outlook going forward.
