For recreational sales in IL, there was a 1.2% increase mostly driven by increases in out-of-state sales which were up 5% sequentially and 260% YoY. Total sales were $116 Million, which is a 163% increase YoY. Recreational sales have a run rate of $1.2 Billion.  Medical sales in IL have remained fairly flat as share is taken from medical by recreational customers. Total medical sales were down 3% sequentially but up 7% YoY to $34 Million. Medical sales have a run rate of $400 Million.  Total sales in IL were up 127% YoY to $151 Million, which is about the same as last month. The current run rate for IL is $1.63 Billion.

After several weeks of stagnant sales, MA sales jumped up to $27 Million, up 12.5% sequentially. The current run rate is $1.17 Billion for adult use. Strong MA sales are a strong driver for FFNTF, AYRWF, and TLLTF.

VLNS expands into flower

Yesterday, Valens announced that it had launched several new products in partnership with Verse Cannabis in the flower, pre-roll, concentrates, and edibles categories.  This move is consistent with the Verse plant introducing the Canadian market with new formulations in innovative formats at value price points.  The new products launched under the Verse Originals line include BC God Bud Flower, Dreamweaver Pre-Rolls, and Amp Pre-Roll, in addition to the Double Chocolate Brownie (one of the first confectionery products of its kind to hit the Canadian recreational market.)  Additionally, the newly launched Killer Kush Live Terp Vape Cartridge and Hash will be available as part of the Verse Concentrates offering.
