OPEC MEETING PREVIEW CALL TOMORROW @ 2PM | DEEPER CUTS - IMG 1349 2

Hedgeye Energy Analyst Joe McMonigle, who just returned this week from 10 days in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, will hold a conference call for clients Thursday moderated by Hedgeye Director of Research Daryl Jones to discuss his preview for expected action at the March 5 & 6 OPEC+ meeting in Vienna.

Last week Joe published two client notes predicting an OPEC agreement to make additional cuts to its December 2019 deal - along the lines of the 600,000 barrels per day recommended by OPEC's Joint Technical Committee (JTC) earlier this month.

There have been several developments since those notes were published: 1) Russia said it is still studying the oil markets and has yet to make public their decision regarding the Saudi proposal for deeper cuts; 2) There has been global growth in coronavirus cases (outside of China) in Italy, Japan, Korea and Iran; and 3) Several press reports last week quoted sources that said Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait were prepared to go it alone on cuts and end the cooperation with Russia.

In the Thursday call, Joe will address all of those topics and answer client questions on oil markets and the upcoming OPEC meeting

Join us for a special conference call previewing the March 5 & 6 OPEC meeting in Vienna with Hedgeye's Director of Research Daryl Jones and Senior Energy Policy Analyst Joe McMonigle.
