Why am I citing the last three CPI prints? Because that’s what the Fed claims they do in order to make policy which impacts the future. I know, it’s dumb, but don’t fight it; just play the game you are given. Can the Fed cut 5 times? No, they might be able to eke out 2. How long can this hysteria last? It will start to end on Nov 13th and really come into question on Dec 11th. Don’t forget, your media and Wall Street get paid on rate cuts, so they will love this narrative and fight till the end on it. |
