Technology analyst Ami Joseph and Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough discuss their negative expectations for Microsoft’s earnings release on Tuesday evening, and technology sector outlook in this clip from The Call @ Hedgeye.

“I would say there’s probably a bit of a let down on some level coming tonight. Some truth card, some river card. The truth is, if we don’t get one tonight, it just makes it a better short,” says Joseph.

“It’s amazing that people are still standing there trying to pick a bottom in this,” adds McCullough. “There are countless people who run money that have no model on Microsoft, have no process, have no model on Google. They just own it cause they’re great companies! But all companies become great when the rate of change is positive on revenue, and you have narratives as far as the eye can see.”
