Colorado Tracker
Cannabis sales have been on a steady decline since July of 2020. Adult Use Sales were down 4.85% sequentially to $147 Million. This is a 31% increase compared to April of last year. The state has an annual run rate of $1.78 Billion.
Washington Tracker
Sales in Washington have been fairly flat for the past year. Adult Use Sales were up 2.5% from the month prior to $130 Million. This is a 10% increase compared to April of last year. The state has an annual run rate of $1.49 Billion.
Oregon Tracker
Sales in Oregon have been fairly flat for the past year. Adult Use and Medical Sales were up 8.44% from the month prior to $110 Million. This is a 23% increase compared to April of last year. The state has an annual run rate of $1.2 Billion.
Pennsylvania Tracker
Pennsylvania sales have seen steady growth since they started in January 2020. Medical Sales were down slightly, .62%, from the month prior to $99 Million. This is a 86% increase compared to April of last year. The state has an annual run rate of $1.1 Billion.
MMA Relaxes Marijuana Policy
The Florida State Boxing Commission announced that it is removing marijuana from its prohibited drug list. Previously, even a trace amount of cannabis found in a fighter's system would lead to a suspension or fine. The change was based on a recommendation from the Association of Boxing Commission's medical advisory committee. However, if a fighter is visibly impaired, they won't be able to fight. The committee agreed that THC is not a performance-enhancing drug, and if a player partakes, they should not be penalized in the same manner that a player who is actually taking PEDs.
