FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STAMFORD, Conn., June 18, 2020 -- Hedgeye Risk Management, a leading independent investment research provider and online financial media firm, announced today that it has launched a new HedgeyeTV channel on Roku available from all digital media streaming devices. Users can now access various Hedgeye online investing content on Roku, including the firm’s highly acclaimed “Real Conversation” interview series hosted by its CEO Keith McCullough featuring deep dive discussions with some of the world’s most successful investors.

The move onto Roku follows significant subscriber and viewer growth across the company’s entire multimedia platform. Through its rapidly growing subscriber base and marketing channels, including an active presence on social media, Hedgeye already reaches an online audience of over 300,000 investors. While approximately 70% of its subscribers are US-based and in all 50 states, the company also has an expanding footprint across Asia and Europe with subscribers in 93 countries around the world.

“My number one goal since I started this company over a decade ago has been to democratize and revolutionize Wall Street investing research,” said Hedgeye Founder and CEO Keith McCullough. “That’s exactly what we’re doing and we’re experiencing explosive growth across all metrics as a result. Roku is one of many steps we are taking to further augment our footprint and introduce Hedgeye to investors across the world.”

Founded in 2008, the firm remains focused on educating and empowering investors across the financial spectrum with its proprietary research process focused on applying a “full cycle investing” framework. The firm’s content is delivered by real market operators and policy experts across an integrated platform including online, TV/video, email, podcasts, cartoons, and more. The firm currently employs over 70 employees and is in hiring mode with seven open positions on its website

In April, the firm hosted its semiannual, online “Hedgeye Investing Summit” which attracted over 100,000 investors. This 3-day event featured nine, hour-long, commercial-free conversations with guests including Jim Bianco, CEO of Bianco Research; Steve Hanke, professor of applied economics at the Johns Hopkins University; and famed former Fed insider Danielle DiMartino Booth.

Additional HedegyeTV guests include hedge fund managers Jim Chanos and Kyle Bass; Liz Ann Sonders, Chief Investment Strategist at Charles Schwab; Epsilon Theory Founder Ben Hunt, economists David Rosenberg and Daniel Lacalle and many other market practioners.

“We are very excited about the explosive growth we’re experiencing,” said Hedgeye President Michael Blum. “Our company has the right people, the right products, and the right opportunity to continue this upward growth trajectory for many years to come. Roku is one platform among many which broadens the places where our users can stream Hedgeye’s unique on-demand content.”
