CRESCO EXPANSION IN OH

CRLBF |BEST IDEA LONG| Cresco announced today that it has entered into agreements with Verdant Creations, LLC, to give Cresco the option to purchase four additional Ohio dispensaries currently operated by Verdant.  Upon closing, Cresco will have a total of five dispensaries in Ohio – the maximum allowed by the State.  Ohio is the seventh most populated State in the country, now has over 100,000 registered patients, and experienced over 30% growth in average weekly sales from February to April.

CANNABIS 2020 THEME – SHRINK TO GROW

TLRY | NO POSITION | said late Tuesday it planned to shut down High Park Gardens, a greenhouse it owns in Leamington, Ontario.  It acquired the greenhouse as part of the ($50.8 million) acquisition of Natura Naturals Holdings Inc. in 2019.  The company said closing the facility will save it roughly $7.5 million a year. The CEO said, "this will immediately put Tilray in a better position to achieve our goals of driving revenues across our core businesses and working towards positive adjusted EBITDA by the end of 2020."  Unwinding excess capacity is what all the most prominent players in Canada are doing, as they all try to become viable companies
