A subscriber asked Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough when the best time to add a short position is during the August 7th edition of The Macro Show.

As Keith explains in the clip above, following the Hedgeye process and using our proprietary Risk Ranges helps remove much of the guess work.

“You want to add to your shorts towards the top end of the range. You do not want to short at the low end of the range,” McCullough explains.

“Average into your positions, pick what your max positions are, and as you get closer to the top end of the range in anything that is bearish trend, that’s where you put it on.”
