Podcast: WWFD--What Will the Fed Do? Plus China Heats Up & New Efforts to Hang the FAANGs (6/11/19)

06/11/19 07:20AM EDT

In this latest issue of my weekly podcast, I ponder over the Fed's dovish signals and ask the question: What's holding the Fed back from cutting now? (See several earlier podcasts on this topic, starting with: April 1, "The Power of the Spread"). I also examine what underlies the vicious war of words between the U.S. and China after the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. And I look at the growing and bipartisan tide of antitrust initiatives targeting the FAANGs amid a public techlash against what these giants are offering. What's brewing may be a sort of anti-digital perfect storm.
