The current U.S. economic expansion has continued now, uninterrupted, for 106 months with no recession.

That’s tied for the second longest in U.S. history. The average U.S. expansion lasts 59 months, meaning we’re now 47 months beyond the average of the last 14 cycles.

As you can see in the chart below, year-over-year GDP growth has been accelerating for the past six quarters, after slowing from the 1Q 2015 peak of 3.8%. We've been calling for U.S. #GrowthAccelerating for the past 16 months.
