Will the revolutionary technology that Bitcoin’s inventors created be stolen by government bureaucrats?
The answer? Absolutely and positively.
That according to hedge fund manager and MacroVoices podcast host Erik Townsend.
While the pioneers of Bitcoin might not seem like they have much in common with literary characters like Hamlet or Macbeth, Townsend says those engineers will end up being the tragic heroes in the story of cryptocurrencies.
“They were the ones who invented this really cool technology, and you better believe that all these governments are going to the blockchain conferences and learning how it works,” Townsend says in the clip above. “They’re going to steal all the cool technology out from under Bitcoin.”
