American artist Norman Rockwell painted the iconic Freedom from Want in 1943, after being inspired by President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1941 State of the Union address. Adapted above, the title of Rockwell's painting also happens to aptly describe the performance of bullish stock market investors this year. (Bears, not so much...)
