Deputy Secretary Brouillette was sworn in at the US Department of Energy on August 7, 2017.  His previous government positions included Staff Director at the US House Energy & Commerce Committee; and Assistant Secretary of Energy for Legislative Affairs in the Bush Administration. He is also a former state energy regulator having served as a member of the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board. He will present on overview of Trump Administration energy policies as well as recent announcements of a DOE study on pipeline permitting and energy infrastructure as well as DOE's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for FERC last week to provide compensation to baseload coal and nuclear power generators.

Minister Khelil will provide a preview of the upcoming OPEC meeting later in November as well as answer your questions about possible actions OPEC may take. With the Aramco IPO scheduled for 2018, the November OPEC meeting will take on even greater significance.
